- Supplies with their name. A pencil case and a water bottle that won't end up in the lost and found.
- For older kids. A journal or notebook set for middle schoolers who like to write things down.
Back to School Gifts for Teachers
Teachers start the year buying their own supplies, so a gift with their name goes a long way:
- A personalized clipboard or desk mat with their name and a colorful design.
- A pennant-design mug for the teachers' lounge, or a "welcome back teacher" shirt for the first day.
- Door corner decor with a bow and their name for the classroom door.
- A badge holder for their school ID.

What to Put on School Gifts
- The name they go by. Use the nickname their friends and teacher use, so the backpack or pencil case feels like theirs.
- The school year, when there is room. A year on a first-day shirt turns it into a keepsake for the photo album.
- A favorite theme. Dinosaurs, vehicles, sports or birth flowers help younger kids spot their things right away.
- A kind line for teachers. "Never forget the difference you make" says thank you in a few words.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are good back to school gifts for kids?
A backpack with their name, a first-day shirt, a pencil case or a water bottle. Personalized supplies are easy to find in a busy classroom and make the new year feel exciting.
What can I personalize on a kids backpack?
Their name or initials, and on some designs a photo, a sport or a favorite theme like dinosaurs, vehicles or birth flowers. The live preview shows exactly how it will look.
What should I give a teacher for back to school?
Something they'll use every day: a clipboard, a desk mat, a mug or a badge holder with their name. A classroom door decoration is a fun gift from the whole class.
When should I order back to school gifts?
A few weeks before the first day, so there's time for production and delivery. See our shipping policy for current times.
Are back to school gifts only for August?
No. The same backpacks, water bottles and teacher supplies work for a new school, a new semester in January or a birthday during the school year.
